“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Leiko Beck is a Hawai‘i Native; born and raised in the quiet, rainy town of Hilo. Her love of photography, art, and architecture led her to pursue a creative career path – starting out in digital design in 2007 and eventually transitioning into a photographer in 2010. Her work is clean + minimalist, with a touch of laid-back island vibe.
When not toting a camera or sketchpad, you can find Leiko living life with her husband + two kids on a coffee farm in Kona.
The What of it all is creating memorable images – through design or photos – that are unique to each project. A delicate balance is maintained between discovering and nurturing the client’s vision, and then curating that vision in a way that Leiko sees it.
To do this successfully, Leiko takes on a limited amount of clients per year with a minimum of one month spent on each creative process. For additional information in her process, click here.
Leiko is currently based in the Kona district of Hawai‘i Island (Big Island), but is available for travel state wide.
